Frank Vasello, the owner of the imaginative, inviting, and immensely popular Relish bakery and sandwich shop in the far West End, shares this home with his husband, Nathan Butera, a broker with Atlantic Bay Sotheby’s International Realty, and Carlo, who is a French bulldog by profession. Vasello and Butera are also the co-creators of Offseason, a 14-episode video miniseries set in Provincetown in mid-winter. The property at 10 Central Street has been owned since 1996 by Steven R. Page. He and James Anderson purchased it from the Mendes family a year after the death of Beatrice M. (Vise) Mendes (1903-1995). She was the widow of John G. Mendes (1902-1955), a carpenter who’d been in the crew responsible for erecting bleachers on the Monument Field athletic grounds in the space of a single weekend in January 1949. Anderson and Page transferred title in 2016 to Page alone.
