Tomato red and appealingly modest, this was the home in the 1950s of the retired fisherman Isadore Costa (±1880-1955) and Maria Gloria (Cabral) Costa (±1886-1956). Costa came to this country in 1904 from São Miguel in the Azores, which was also where his wife came from. Their son Manuel, who lived in New Bedford, sold the property in 1957 to Alice M. Williams. It is now owned by J. Allan Robinson and Ashley B. Yeats.
