A trap fisherman’s warehouse stood on this site in the late 19th century, and was almost certainly the structure that Jean Voorhees of Cranford, N.J., and Robert Miller of East Orange, N.J., purchased in 1959 for $6,000. Voorhees spent a number of summers here subsequently with Miller’s wife, Charlotte, and the couple’s son Scott. Town records say that the current dwelling was constructed in 1975. I don’t know yet whether it’s a reconstruction of the old seine warehouse or an entirely new structure. Thomas J. Bombardier, one of the developers of Telegraph Hill, bought the property in 1990 for $325,000. It’s been owned since 2012 by Gary S. Reinhardt, past president of the Provincetown Business Guild and past chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, who paid $1.6 million for the property, according to the assessor’s office.
