Delft Haven II Condominium (Unit 3).
You might call this cottage the birthplace of the annual White Party, as it was owned from 1980 to 1990 by Kenneth J. Kruse and Donald E. Cote. They got the event going around Labor Day in 1981 as a small group of friends gathered at Delft Haven “to play croquet, have a few cocktails, and toast the end of a wonderful summer,” in the words of the event’s website. “And why not wear white? It was your last chance.” The party’s host, Peter Page, transformed it in 2011 into a benefit event for Outer Cape Health Services, for which it raised $52,000 in 2017, according to the organizers.
Unit 3 faces Commercial Street, on the south side of the compound. It is linked to Unit 4 through a common area. Its owner since 2016 has been Ronald C. Homer of Boston.
