Nason all the way to the Pacific Ocean in 1868, and the four-times-widowed Capt. Thomas Sparks (1804-1895). Their grandsons included Capt. Benjamin F. Sparks (1850-1916) and Charles Addison Sparks (1853-1925), who were cousins. LCDR Frederick Addison Sparks (1879-1919) was among their grandsons.
