Former Peters Cottages.

Manuel Peters and his wife Mary ran a cottage colony on a long cul-de-sac off Bradford Street. The most renowned guest was the writer Hermann Kesten, whose story is told at 290E Bradford Street. After Manuel died in 1962, his family began selling off small parcels of the property to different purchasers. This, the site closest to Bradford Street, was sold out of the family in 2005 and is now owned by Bonnie L. Seely and Linda C. Barbrick of Hull, Mass.
