Bradford Acres Condominium | Former Hidden Acres Motel.
In 1958, the year that the Gordon family opened the Chateau Motel in the West End, Raymond Souza and his wife, Matilda Souza, bought a 1.13-acre property from Helen L. (Saint-Amand) Vitelli, a large landowner in this part of town. Within two years, they had constructed the Hidden Acres Motel on the western part of the Vitelli parcel. Souza also maintained Ray’s Refrigeration Sales and Service at this location. The property was converted to a seven-unit condo in 1977 by Anthony W. Dedecko of Centerville, up Cape, and Charles E. Englert of Boston.
