It looks like a big house (it has nearly 2,500 square feet) and, indeed, it has housed a big population. In 1962, five adults lived at 8 Brown: Lawrence Cabral (b ±1929), a heavy equipment operator; Shirley Cabral (b ±1938), a housewife; Joseph Meads (b ±1894), a retired fisherman; Eva Silva (b 1913), a housewife; and James M. Silva (b ±1909), a contractor and the owner of the property. It’s now owned by James W. Silva (b 1977) and his wife, Carissa Mae Silva (b 1977).
