Dick Flood Smith salt works [Long Point Settlement No. 8].
These salt works were large enough to show up clearly on Maj. J. D. Graham’s extraordinary Map of the Extremity of Cape Cod of 1835, and their remnants also seem to be visible in A. F. Poole’s 1882 Bird’s Eye View of the Town of Provincetown.
