Provincetown Municipal Airport | Hangar I.
The citizens of Provincetown attended a “hangar dance” on 20 May 1950 to celebrate the completion and opening of the airport’s 80-by-80-foot steel-roofed hangar and office, constructed for the Cape Cod Flying Service. It was demolished in 1973. The DC-3 in the foreground bears the livery of the joint operation: Naples Airlnes & Provincetown-Boston Airline.
