Provincetown Municipal Airport | Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
That’s Roger Putnam at the controls of the single-engine, three-seat Skyhawk used by Race Point Aviation for its scenic-photo flights. Putnam and Russ Kimball run the long-established sightseeing and flight instruction company, which is based at Provincetown Municipal Airport. The Cessna Aircraft Company calls the Skyhawk “the most successful piston aircraft ever,” which doesn’t seem too immodest, given that more than 44,000 of them have been manufactured since 1956. And they are still in production, as of 2017.
