2020 Commercial 010A

(2008)

This view up Commercial Street may be the most storybook tableau in town — a 20th-century fiction, of course, but wholly beguiling all the same. Andrew C. Stich and Harriet S. Stich of Chestnut Hill have owned this home since 1993 and ought to be credited with the eye-popping, mouth-watering, picture-postcard plantings that seem to embrace it in summertime. In one of many small paradoxes of Provincetown life, this view is undoubtedly identified in the minds of many passers-by with the Delft Haven cottage colony, but the Stiches’ property has not been part of the 10 Commercial Street complex for decades.
