Prince Freeman Westend Waterfront Compound | Prince Freeman Apartments.
After nearly 20 years of running the Prince Freeman House at No. 51, Edward J. Dahill (1916-1998) and Catherine C. (Fink) Dahill (1915-2004) bought a large vacant parcel abutting theirs from Earl R. and Constance C. Kimball in 1968. On the 53 Commercial Street property, a year later, they constructed a three-story apartment house, with a total of six bedrooms and four full baths, according to current town records. Jay C. Anderson of Fort Lauderdale, who bought the Dahill properties in 2016, plans to demolish the Prince Freeman Apartments and replace it with a new waterfront home.
