West Vine Street Landing.
The Eighth Town Landing, guaranteeing the public a passageway to the waterfront at the foot of West Vine Street, was established in 1900. It’s exceptionally wide, at 28 feet, and also serves as a kayak berth, as shown in the thumbnail photo. The Provincetown Harbor Management Plan Update of 2018 noted that the landing was vulnerable to being washed out by heavy rains and storm tides.
