Building 3.
Jay C. Anderson of Los Angeles evidently purchased the Carreiros’ large waterfront parcel in 2000 with big plans of his own: completely reconstructing the main house, then combining two cottages into a single house, then building this three-story, three-bedroom, 1,635-square-foot house in 2004. The project may have seemed like overly ambitious 21st-century development, but there was actually a dwelling in roughly this same spot in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The architects were Krueger Associates of Cambridge.
