Capt. Henry N. West (1838-1876) | Gifford.
Born in Maine, Captain West married Rebecca P. Dunham of Provincetown and into a famously seafaring family whose members included the master of the whaler William A. Grozier and the keeper of the first Long Point Light. The square and compass tell us that he was a Mason. [Lot No. 181.]
