Jay Critchley compound | Outhouse.

Jay Critchley’s appreciation for the past extends to one of the most important examples of vernacular architecture: the outhouse. This one was a two-seater he salvaged in Wellfleet. In 2011, he also attempted to save one of the last extant outhouses in Provincetown, from 8 Fishburn Court, but he said it disintegrated before it could be conserved.
