2020 Commercial 007 Unit 04Delft Haven II Condominium (Unit 4).

By far the longest tenured of the Delft Haven residents is the owner of Unit 4, a resident of Boston. He and his partner purchased the cottage in 1977 at the time of the original condominium offering by Peter L. Boyle and John J. Boyle. They paid $43,500. Cottage 4 (Unit 4) has one side to the harbor, on the south side of the compound. Originally a freestanding building, it has since been linked to Unit 3 through a common area ornamented by a shallow colonnade. The two together form a bracket that encloses the south half of the central lawn at Delft Haven, creating a kind of shingled quadrangle. As originally apportioned, the 513-square-foot cottage had two bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen, and a bathroom. One of the two original owners died in 2010, after the couple celebrated 41 years together. The surviving partner still owns Cottage 4.
